I designed Queens Boulevard Central Park with the intent to meet all park greywater needs, reduce stormwater runoff, detain and clean stormwater, and prevent Combined Sewer Overflows (CSOs) from discharging sewage and stormwater in the NYC waterways. I analyzed these goals to reveal that the proposed on-site and off-site design propositions would have an overwhelmingly positive impact on the existing stormwater system.
